Fellow Business Executives:

As the CFO of this business that employees 140 people, I have resigned
myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our next President, and
that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have
to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot
increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we
will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been
eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn’t
know how to choose who will have to go.

So, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found 8
Obama bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and have decided these
folks will be the first to be laid off. I can’t think of a more fair way
to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.

Did you hear about the Texas teacher who was helping one of her kindergarten students put on his cowboy boots? He asked for help and she could see why. Even with her pulling and him pushing, the little boots still didn’t want to go on. By the time they got the second boot on, she had worked up a sweat.

She almost cried when the little boy said,

’Teacher, they’re on the wrong feet.’ She looked, and sure enough, they were. It wasn’t any easier pulling the boots off than it was putting them on. She managed to keep her cool as, together, they worked to get the boots back on, this time on the right feet.

He then announced, ’These aren’t my boots.’ She bit her tongue, rather than get right in his face and scream, ’Why didn’t you say so?’, like she wanted to. O once again she struggled to help him pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner had they gotten the boots off when he said, ’They’re my brother’s boots. My Mom made me wear ’em.’

Now she didn’t know if she should laugh or cry. But she mustered up what grace and courage she had left to wrestle the boots on his feet again. Helping him into his coat, she asked,

’Now, where are your Mittens?’ He said, ’I stuffed ’em in the toes of my boots.’

Paul Pelosi, Nancy ’s husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.

In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition’s.

Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an "economic development credit in American Samoa ".

Fictitious Donors Found in Obama Finance Records

Last December, someone using the name Test Person, from Some Place, UT, made a series of contributions, the largest being $764, to Senator Barack Obamas presidential campaign totaling $2,410.07.

Someone identifying himself as Jockim Alberton, from 1581 Leroy Avenue in Wilmington, Del., began giving to Mr. Obama last November, contributing $10 and $25 at a time for a total of $445 through the end of February.

The only problem? There is no Leroy Avenue in Wilmington. And Jockim Alberton, who listed his employer and occupation as Fdsa Fdsa, does not show up in a search of public records.

An analysis of campaign finance records by The New York Times this week found nearly 3,000 donations to Mr. Obama, the Democratic nominee, from more than a dozen people with apparently fictitious donor information. The contributions represent a tiny fraction of the record $450 million Mr. Obama has raised. But the questionable donations some donors were listed simply with gibberish for their names raise concerns about whether the Obama campaign is adequately vetting its unprecedented flood of donors.

It is unclear why someone making a political donation would want to enter a false name. Some perhaps did it for privacy reasons. Another, more ominous possibility, of course, is fraud, perhaps in order to donate beyond the maximum limits.

There is no evidence that questionable contributions amount to anything more than a small portion of Mr. Obamas fund-raising haul. The Timess analysis, conducted over a few days and looking for obvious anomalies, like names or addresses with all consonants, identified about $40,000 in suspect contributions that had not been refunded by the campaign as of its last filing with the Federal Election Commission, in September.

It appears that campaign finance records for Senator John McCain, the Republican nominee, contain far fewer obviously false names, although he has taken in about $200 million in contributions, less than half Mr. Obamas total. Mr. McCain did collect about $173,000 from donors who appear in campaign finance records with only a name and have no other identifying information. Mr. Obama collected about $314,000 from such donors.

Although campaigns have long wrestled with questionable donations, Sheila Krumholz, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics, said the record-setting number of new donors Mr. Obama has drawn, many of them online, presents new challenges to a compliance system that remains stuck in the past.

Ms. Krumholz pointed out, however, that it would take an extraordinary amount of coordination to pull off widespread fraud.

Ben LaBolt, a spokesman for the Obama campaign, highlighted the more than 2.5 million donors it had to wade through. We have been aggressive about taking every available step, he said, to make sure our contributions are appropriate, updating our systems when necessary.

But even a contributor who used the name Jgtj Jfggjjfgj, and listed an address of thjtrj in gjtjtjtjtjtjr, AP, was able to contribute $370 in a series of $10 donations in August.

A pair of donors named Derty West and Derty Poiiuy, who listed rewq, ME as their addresses and Qwertyyy or Qwerttyyu as either their employer or occupation, contributed a combined $1,110 in July.

In some cases, campaign finance records showed refunds from the Obama campaign, presumably to donors credit cards, even as other contributions were accepted. Obama officials said most of their vetting occurred after a donation came in.

Officials with campaign finance watchdog groups said that there was no proof of a widespread problem, but that the issue certainly warranted additional scrutiny.

I think the candidates need to be clearer about the vetting systems theyre using and demonstrating theyre sufficient to weed out potential fraud, said Stephen Weissman, associate director for policy at the Campaign Finance Institute.

The questionable donations to the Obama campaign, most of which appear to have been given in small increments online, are bolstering the contentions of some campaign finance groups that additional disclosure requirements are needed for contributions of $200 or less.

Federal candidates are not required to itemize such contributions to the F.E.C. unless the donors cumulative total adds up to more than $200. Roughly 70 percent of these contributions to Mr. Obama are not reported, compared with more than 75 percent of Mr. McCains.

On Monday the Republican National Committee filed a complaint against the Obama campaign with the F.E.C., questioning the legitimacy of the more than $220 million in small donations to Mr. Obamas campaign.

The complaint followed an article on the conservative Web site Newsmax.com that highlighted thousands of dollars in contributions, made in increments of $25 dating back to March, from Good Will in Austin, Tex., who listed his employer as Loving and his occupation as You, as well as thousands in small contributions that started last November from a Doodad Pro in Nunda, N.Y., with the same employer and occupation.

Doodad Pro and Good Will, who made more than 1,000 contributions each and whose totals far exceeded the $4,600 that individuals can legally give to the primary and general elections, were flagged by the F.E.C. in standard letters regarding excess contributions sent to the Obama campaign. The commission alerted the campaign about Good Will as early as June, giving it 30 days to respond.

The Obama campaign refunded several thousand dollars in contributions to the two donors, even before receiving the letters from the F.E.C. But its campaign finance filing in September showed it had failed to refund more than $10,000 in donations from each of them, although Obama officials say all of the money has now been returned.

Even though Good Will made more than $7,000 in contributions to the Obama campaign in March, and even more after that, Suzanha Burmeister, marketing director at Goodwill Industries of Central Texas, a nonprofit group whose address matches the one listed by the donor, said the organization was not contacted by the campaign until September.

The group was not asked about fraud but instead received several letters informing the donor that he had exceeded his contribution limit for the primary and asking if he wanted to redirect the excess to the general election.

Someone from the group immediately called the Obama campaign, Ms. Burmeister said, and was told it was having integrity issues with its online donations. They must be really backlogged, she said.

The contributions from Doodad Pro shot up to $11,275 in February alone, of which F.E.C. records show the Obama campaign refunded only $2,550 initially.

The address listed by Doodad Pro leads to Lloyd & Lynns Liquor & Wine in Nunda, a town of about 3,000 people.

Lynn Kirwan, one of the stores owners, said they used to share an address with a consignment shop called Doodads. Several months earlier, she said, the local police contacted the store to ask about some athletic equipment that had been ordered by a Doodad Pro, but she said they had heard nothing from the Obama campaign.

Another donor apparently connected to Good Will and Doodad Pro, Fornari Usa, listed the same Loving and You under employer and occupation, and made a series of $25 donations to Mr. Obama in May, totaling $1,050.

The address leads to a womens clothing store, Fornari U.S.A., in Milpitas, Calif. Levi Lazo, a sales associate, said she and her manager were mystified by the donations.

None of us, Ms. Lazo said, have made any contributions.

Bob works hard at the office but spends two nights each week bowling, and plays golf every Saturday.
His wife thinks he’s pushing himself too hard, so for his birthday she takes him to a local strip club.

The doorman at the club greets them and says, ’Hey, Bob! How ya doin?’
His wife is puzzled and asks if he’s been to this club before.
’Oh no,’ says Bob. ’He’s in my bowling league.
When they are seated, a waitress asks Bob if he’d like his usual and brings over a Budweiser.
His wife is becoming increasingly uncomfortable and says, ’How did she know that you drink Budweiser?’
’I recognize her, she’s the waitress from the golf club.
I always have a Bud at the end of the 1st nine, honey.’
A stripper then comes over to their table, throws her arms around Bob, starts to rub herself all over him and says,
’Hi Bobby. Want your usual table dance, big boy?’
Bob’s wife, now furious, grabs her purse and storms out of the club.
Bob follows and spots her getting into a cab.
Before she can slam the door, he jumps in beside her.
Bob tries desperately to explain how the stripper must have mistaken him for someone else, but his wife is having none of it .
She is screaming at him at the top of her lungs, calling him every 4 letter word in the book.
The cabby turns around and says,

’Geez Bob, you picked up a real bitch this time.’

BOB’s funeral will be on Friday.

Listening to the mainstream media these last few days I’ve learned a few things about the GOP’s VP nominee but also had to learn a few things on my own. To wit:

1. From the media I learned Sarah Palin’s husband has a DUI conviction from 22 years ago. Ted Kennedy (hero of last week’s tribute at the DNC) was drunk while driving a car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick. That same crash killed a young campaign volunteer with whom he was having an affair. Oh, and that woman was pregnant with his child. * Mr. Palin’s (who is not running for office) DUI came a mere 4 years after Barack Obama (who is running for president) stopped using cocaine and marijuana (by his own admission in his autobiography).

Shocking - it’s OK for the presidential candidate to use drugs or the party patriarch to kill someone while driving drunk yet the husband of a VP candidate should be demonized for something done 22 years ago.

2. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin’s daughter is pregnant. * Joe Biden’s (the other VP candidate) son was paid a large amount of money as a consultant to credit card company MBNA. That same company had business before Senator Joe Biden concerning regulation of consumer credit practices. After the company paid a hefty sum to Mr. Biden’s son, he voted in favor of legislation to help that company.* That same son, Hunter, is also engaged in a legal investigation and suit for defrauding a former business partner

Shocking - it’s a crime for the republican VP candidate to have a child who’s pregnant even though it’s irrelevant to how she performs her job. It’s ok, however, for the democrat VP candidate while a senator to vote in favor of a company who paid his son over a quarter of a million dollars.

3 . From the media I learned that Sarah Palin should be considered "selfish" for agreeing to run for VP knowing about her daughter’s condition. Knowing that her public role would bring extra scrutiny on the family is selfish

And she should have declined to protect her child

(actually heard this on ABC this weekend).

Strange - the same people who said Sarah is selfish for running for VP did not seem to care about any impact on Chelsea when Bill Clinton had his alliance with Monica Lewinsky. That was a private, personal matter you see.

4. From the media I have learned to be "concerned" that Sarah Palin probably won’t be able to manage her family and do an effective job of being VP at the same time.
Funny - I never heard anything about Hillary’s ability to support Chelsea while re-doing healthcare or any of the other feminist icons who say you can balance work and family. They also never mention that Barack will have to balance time with his children while meeting with heads of rogue nations or how Joe Biden’s kids don’t even have a mom and will be fighting for his time while he hosts white house coffee fundraisers and sells nights in the Lincoln bedroom.

5. From the media I have learned that Sarah Palin is "too inexperienced" to be a heartbeat-away from the presidency. * Apparently taking on corruption in your own party and running a state that’s the same size people-wise as Delaware (hint hint: that’s where Joe Biden is from) is not really experience.
* However, time spent as a "community organizer" and less than 180 days in the senate where you’ve authored no significant legislation is just the type of "change" we’re looking for from the top of the ticket. Funny - inexperience at the top of the ticket is a mantra for "change" and "hope" while strong practical everyday experience as the #2 is cause for concern.

6. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin’s husband once got a ticket for fishing without a license.
* I haven’t heard much about the fact that if he were still a practicing attorney, the VP candidate Joe Biden would be disbarred for plagiarism not once but multiple times. It’s ok to break the rules if you’re a democrat candidate but not Ok if you are the spouse of a republican candidate.

7. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin doesn’t know much about Iraq; in fact we wonder if she even knows where it is. * Sarah’s son volunteered into the US military and is now deployed in Iraq. I guess that doesn’t count. Sarah has spent more time with troops in Iraq (as commander of the Alaska National Guard she visited Iraq last year) than Obama has even while running for president. In fact, when Sarah went to Iraq she spent time with the troops. When Obama went there, he skipped a base visit to instead go work out at the Ritz Carlton.

8. From the media I l earned that Sarah Palin is a "lightweight" and she better be a "quick study" to keep up with this team. Funny, nobody is talking about how, after Barack Obama had "visited 57 states" according to him he only had "5 more to go" or endless other stupid gaffes that expose who he really is.

9. From the media I have learned that (gasp!), Sarah Palin’s husband was once a registered member of a 3rd party that favored states’ rights (man,this is really bad stuff).* That same media has been silent to the story that when Barack Obama announced his first senate run, he did so in the home of William Ayers. Mr. Ayers is an un-repentant terrorist convicted for bombing the pentagon. This same Mr. Ayers said on 9/11 that he and his group did not do enough to harm our military and he wished he had done more. During the same time as that comment, he was serving on a board with Barack Obama. All notes and information about their serving together is now locked up by the corrupt Chicago machine and reporter access to those records are being blocked by the Obama campaign.

If we’ve had any doubts about the bias of the media, it’s pretty clear now where they stand. Pass this on to some of your friends who are on the fence and who get all their information from Katie Couric, Wolf Blitzer, Tom Brokaw and the gang. This is egregious and corrupt. The only way to stop it is to spread information using other outlets and make these guys irrelevant.

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost.She lowered her

altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me,

can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I

don’t know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You’re in a hot air

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."
